Mya 11-2005 Doing well
|
A friend's 4 yr old Vizsla, Mya, was recently diagnosed as having a "fibro sarcoma" (cancerous tumor) in her face. Without expensive surgery, Mya would have only lived a few months.
Because of her owners' Vizsla patriotism, they chose to go ahead with the costly surgery to save her, but are now faced with several thousand dollars in bills from the animal hospital.
America
has always been an important member of the Vizsla's coalition.

*6/20/05 - Mya Returns home from 19 days of radiation treatment in Red Bank, NJ and is recovering well

Due to your generosity, we have been able to help pay for about 10%
of Mya's total vet bill so far, which is a significant amount. Thanks,

*11/20/05
- Good News- Mya is doing well, and we are all hopeful that she will
stay free of cancer. Being a Vizsla, she seems unaware of the ordeal
that she has been through and her current scars, and is a happy dog!
(once again sitting at her place of honor at the kitchen table) I want
to thank everyone for their concern, and their support for Mya. Mya's
owners, Jim and Chris, have paid for the vet bills, and are very thankful
for the great V owners in the world.
